The White Buffalo Lodge, new May 2021, is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cabin with a very large covered back porch complete with a hot tub. The outdoor living space has lots of seating for you to enjoy the nature that surrounds the area including the deer that frequent the area. We are a privately owned and managed property - not run by a big management or resort company. Holidays and Spring Break require 3-night minimum stays.
This family inspired cabin has a king-size bed, Murphy twin-size pull-down bunk beds which are perfect for kids or small adults, and a ROKU TV in the master bedroom. The master bathroom features a large walk-in shower and double sinks. The second bedroom also has a king-size bed with a ROKU TV. Just outside the second bedroom is a full bathroom with a tub/ shower combo with tiled walls and granite countertop. There is a queen-size sofa sleeper in in living room so the cabin can sleep a total of 8 people. The living room features a gas log fireplace with ceiling high rock fireplace, leather furniture, a 65" family room SmartTV, and a video arcade with over 400+ games that will keep adults and kids entertained for hours! There are cards, dominoes, and board games in case it rains! We are close to restaurants, the lake, the petting zoo, and all the fun activities. WiFi internet service is available via fiber optic service to the cabin of 1GB/1GB (down/up) for those wanting/needing to "work from home" but the 1.3 acres allows you to get away from it all and enjoy all that nature has to offer. There is a seasonal creek that runs through the back of the lot.
The full kitchen has granite countertops, a center island for extra prep space and seating for two, stainless steel appliances and custom cabinets. The kitchen is stocked with cookware, bake-ware & gadgets to make your favorite meals. The six-foot long table has seating for 8. Just bring your favorite foods!
The large covered back porch has a 4 person hot tub, propane grill for cooking outside. And there's plenty of comfy seating on the veranda. Don't forget to bring marshmallows for the fire pit!
The White Buffalo Lodge has a large gravel driveway providing plenty of room to park 2 cars and room to park a boat or personal watercraft trailer, too.
About the Owner
We live in Texas but came to Hochatown in 2020 for a Mother's Day weekend trip with our kids and just fell in love with it. So, we decided to buy a place of our own here so we could come visit anytime we wanted to get back to nature. This is a beautiful place to visit and get away from the hustle of the city. It's also a great "work from home" place too if we need to get some work done.Amenities
